Lions roar to record 19-0 win!

Maccabi London Lions White U12 side claimed their biggest ever win on Sunday as they thrashed Bishops Stortford Swifts 19-0 in a second round Herts County Cup tie.

The win, which made it eight wins from eight games in all competitions, saw Dylan Phillips score five time, Jason Burns, Sam Goldberg and Scott Leslie – who played out of goal for the last six minutes – all chipped in with a hat-trick, with Ben Werter, Ben Barnett, Moshi Benaim, Joseff Rubinoff and an own goal completed the rout.

Manager Nigel Burns said: “I’m obviously very happy with the performance and result but sterner tests await!”
