LL Camps paedophile ‘investigated over child sex offences in Spain’
Ben Lewis, who co-ran LL Camps in Bushey, was convicted in 2016 but is now reportedly accused of fresh offences in Spain
A summer camp founder spared jail after indecent images of children were found on his phone is facing fresh accusations of child sex offences in Spain, according to reports.
Ben Lewis, 31, who co-founded LL Camps in Bushey, was handed a suspended two-year sentence in 2016 after naked images of three and four-year-old girls were discovered on his iPhone.
Now Lewis is reportedly under investigation in Spain, where he moved following his sentence in Britain, reports Mail Online.
The publication reports Lewis is being investigated on suspicion of making and distributing child abuse material, although there has not yet been a formal indictment.
He is said to have changed his name to Ben David following his sentencing in 2016 and gained employment at a Madrid school.
The summer camp, popular with Jewish families, was closed by Ofsted shortly after Lewis’s arrest in 2015.
