British duo part of Yair Lapid’s top team

London-born Keren Hajioff has been named as international spokesperson to new Prime Minister Yair Lapid.
She is part of a team that includes former UJS campaigns director Yair Zivan, a trusted advisor to the one-time broadcaster since 2014. He will continue to serve as diplomatic advisor.
Hajioff – who made Aliyah in 2009 and rose to become a major in the Israeli army – had served as international spokesman to Naftali Bennett for nearly a year. It’s understood he personally gave his blessing to her staying on in the prime minister’s office after she was offered the role.
Zivan was raised in Leicester and was campaigns director of the Union of Jewish Students between 2007 and 2009. He was later hired by Lapid in 2014 to sharpen up his international image and help build experience in foreign affairs.
