Neo-Nazi instigator of ‘Jewificaiton’ rally sending anti-Semitic letters from jail

The neo-Nazi instigator of last year’s demonstrations against the “Jewification” of parts of London is still sending anti-Semitic letters from jail, it has been revealed.

Joshua Bonehill-Paine, who was jailed last year for three years and four months, sent letters in cartoons with drawings of the 9/11 attacks and a Star of David, in reference to the conspiracy theory that Jews were behind the 2001 attacks.

“We are investigating this unacceptable incident and have put measures in place to ensure this offender’s mail is monitored by prison staff,” the Prison Service told the Western Gazette. “Additionally, we will also take disciplinary action against the prisoner, which could see him being stripped of his privileges and being referred to the police for investigation.”

Bonehill-Paine, who was also caught depicted Adolf Hitler saluting, last year antagonised the community by organising a neo-Nazi rally in Golders Green. Although it was later banned and moved to Whitehall, the July event had been advertised as “an absolute gas”.

Jonathan Sacerdoti, Director of Communications at Campaign Against Antisemitism said: “There is no doubt that this offensive and attention-seeking behaviour is designed not only to cause distress, but also to demonstrate a lack of remorse and contrition. HM Prison Service should monitor his letters and remove any rights they can for this blatant racist antisemitism. We have also referred this matter to the Metropolitan Police Service for criminal investigation. Thankfully this man represents nobody but himself, and his views are repulsive to the majority of the mainstream British population.”
