New Jewish year, new Jewish News!

Britain’s most popular Jewish newspaper has been rebooted, reinvigorated... reborn!

Britain’s most popular Jewish newspaper has been rebooted, reinvigorated… reborn!

Today we proudly unveil Jewish News’ first front-to-back redesign in a decade – from our eye-catching new red and silver logo and sharp, easy-to-read typefaces to new features and household-name columnists – all printed on high-quality paper and distributed to even more readers in more locations across London and beyond.

The heartbeat of any paper is the opinion pages, and our array of must-read columnists will provoke endless Shabbat dinner debates. New star writers include Nick Ferrari, Maajid Nawaz and Samantha Simmonds. We’ve also created a double-page spread of readers’ letters, reflecting the dramatic rise in audience responsiveness to the articles we publish in print and online.

You’ll notice we’ve combined our popular community, social announcements and Pulse picture pages into one bumper seven-page magazine-style section called Scene & Be Seen, giving more space to celebrate the individuals and organisations that make our community tick.

The structure of the newspaper has also changed, with news features now found in the middle and greater emphasis placed on food and health in our expanded features section.

All these visual and editorial innovations, developed with Matt Williams, one of the UK’s top print designers, and our inspiring production editor Diane Spender, have been made with one aim in mind – to enrich your reading experience.

The bathwater may have been tossed out, but we’re still holding firmly on to our precious baby. As Jewish News approaches its 20th anniversary and 1,000th issue, one thing will never change. We remain, first and foremost, the loud, proud voice of the Jewish community – serving loyal readers in the UK and reaching new audiences worldwide, while remaining entirely, uniquely, FREE!

The brand new newspaper follows the successful relaunch of jewishnews.co.uk – the most popular Jewish news website in the country with more than half-a-million page views a month and growing every week, with content promoted by our digital partner, Times Of Israel.

We’re excited to share the brand new Jewish News with you. Let us know what you think at editorial@thejngroup.com.
