A new partnership has been formed to enhance efficiency in Jewish education.

The Partnerships for Jewish Schools (PaJeS) and Jewish Interactive, who are experts in the provision of technology in the classroom, are to combine efforts to deliver greater support to schools in a number of areas.

They will work to deliver better services in Information Computer Technology (ICT) and hardware support, teacher training, internet safety for teachers, students and parents, and procurement services.

Rabbi David Meyer, Executive Director of PaJeS, said: “The partnership between PaJeS and Jewish Interactive is an exciting and important development for the school’s community, ensuring the most efficient use of our resources, whilst at the same time enhancing the quality of support we offer to schools.”

Chana Kanzen, UK Director of Jewish Interactive, said: “Jewish Interactive has grown rapidly in three years, from a grass roots organisation, to a multi- faceted charity that is working with 98 settings in the UK. Partnering with PaJeS enables us to reach more schools effectively, ensures communal funds are efficiently used and ultimately will help to improve our children’s education – a mission we both share.”
