Question: What do you call nine rabbis tied together trying to run 1 km?

Answer: A sight worth sponsoring.

Tied leg-to-leg, the United Synagogue rabbis were hoping to raise over £15,000 for younger people in the Jewish community during Sunday’s Maccabi Fun Run.

Funds raised will contribute to bursaries and creative programmes for young people – including Learn to Lead trips to Israel and Poland.

With donations still open, the rabbi who raises the most money will win an ice-cream Kiddush for their shul.
