Noam Primary School has purchased a site to build permanent premises.

The news was broken to more than 300 guests at the school’s annual dinner on Tuesday night, with hopes that pupils will move from temporarily accommodation within 15 months.

Chair of governors Dr Jeremy Rees said: “For the past 16 years, Noam has been a small school with big plans, ever growing with limited space. On our 16th year with the help and support of a number of incredible people, Noam has finally secured a site to build a brand new school which will provide the best possible future for our children.”

More than £200,000 was raised towards the building of the new campus.

School bosses also plan to complete an application to become a state-aided school in Barnet.
