Once, twice, three times our mitzvah!
They say you can wait years for a bar or batmitzvah – but for one family, three came along all at once.
Triplets Amy, Jack and Dahlia Rodinsky, who all attend JFS in Kenton, marked their special day with a joint celebration at Edgware Reform Synagogue on Saturday.
It is thought to be the first time the synagogue has held a triple bar/batmitzvah ceremony, which was conducted by Rabbi Daniel Smith. Proud mum Katie, who is married to Paul Rodinsky, said: “It went really well and there was a lovely atmosphere in the synagogue.
“The children all said their pieces beautifully and it was a very warm and special occasion.
“The whole shul clapped afterwards and we’ve never heard that happen before!” The siblings enjoyed a celebratory lunch and tea with their family after the ceremony, followed by a party at Vanilla on Sunday.
