Real Madrid striker Ronaldo attacked over Israeli advert

Real Madrid striker Cristiano Ronaldo has been attacked on social media after he took part in an advert for Israeli cable company HOT.

The Portuguese star is seen joking around with his new teammates claiming the internet can’t be faster than him and demands that he wears the No.7 jersey.

However, while the post was liked by 5.6 thousand people, there were also negative reactions, including one user who said: “You spelled ‘OCCUPIED PALESTINE’ kinda weird there” and “@Cristiano because of tweets like this , you lose many of supporters in Arab countries , you should avoid supporting Israel”
