Good Deeds day 2019, Moscow

Thousands of Russians took part this week in the annual global charity event, Good Deeds Day.

On April 7, which was also World Health Day, campaigns were organised by the Jewish student organisation, the Hillel Russia, attracting volunteers in Moscow, St Petersburg, Ekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Khabarovsk, Penza, Krasnoyarsk, and Saratov.

Good Deeds Day in Russia brought together over 1,000 Moscow students, charity fund volunteers, activists and caring people.

This year, participants in Moscow took part in one of 10 charitable activities, including dog walking, blood donation, and collecting clothes for homeless people and low-income families.

The project was supported by Genesis Philanthropy Group, the Joint Distribution Committee and The Challenger.
