Sela through to second round of French Open

Dudi Sela is through to the second round of the French Open after claiming a comprehensive straight sets win against Mikhail Kukushkin.

Despite being ranked 32 places below the Kazakhstani, Sela looked comfortable in winning 7-6, 6-3, 7-6, though faces a daunting prospect in the second round, as he comes up against home favourite Jo-Wilfried Tsonga.

The win was only his second win in the main draw at Roland Garros – the first coming back in 2009.
