Photographer Hanina Pinnick certainly went the extra smile for her stunning university project showing the diversity of London’s Jewish community.

70 Smiles, part of the Free Range exhibition at Brick Lane’s Old Truman Brewery until Monday, shows Jews of all ages, from across the religious and cultural spectrum.

The 21-year-old said: “The images include children, teenagers and adults, some born in the UK, some refugees, some Israelis living in London, some religious and some not.”

The artist says she was inspired by the number 70, as this year marks Israel’s 70th anniversary, as well as being a number with “deep biblical roots”.
