A swastika was daubed beneath a street sign in Highgate on Sunday.

Local resident Michael Israel discovered the Nazi emblem on Monday morning on Jackson’s Lane.

The CST has been informed and the sick graffiti is due to be removed. Mr Israel told Jewish News: “It’s sickening. I’ve lived in this area for 30 years and never seen such a thing.

Maybe it’s provoked in some way by what’s happened in Paris.”
