Three injured in suspected ramming attack in Acre
Driver taken into custody following attack on Sunday morning in northern Israel
Three people have been left injured after a car carried out a suspected ramming attack in northern Israel on Sunday morning.
The incident took place in Acre, and left one person injured near the city’s market, while the other two were injured near the train.
Israeli police say a jeep hit a border policeman and two other soldiers were injured, while a third person shot at the vehicle, injuring the driver.
Magen David Adom say the injured were taken to a hospital in Netanya, while the IDF say they are looking into the incident.
