United Synagogue President re-elected for another four-year term

The United Synagogue’s President has been re-elected for a second term at the helm of the organisation.

Michael Goldstein was unopposed in his bid to lead the Orthodox synagogue movement, for which he will serve another four year term.

The decision was made at the United Synagogue’s Council meeting this week, where Maxwell Nisner was also re-elected as treasurer, as-well-as Fleurise Lewis and Saul Taylor, both re-elected as Trustees.  Claire Lemer stepped down after two four-year terms as a Trustee, and is replaced by Rachel Hartog, who served a total of 7 seven years on the council of Stanmore and Canons Park Synagogue, and 6 years on the US council.
