VIDEO: Bibi calls for Palestinians to stop ‘running away’ from Peace talks
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called on the world to hold the
Palestinians accountable for snubbing peace talks over the years.
Speaking ahead of a meeting with visiting Czech Foreign Minister Lubomir
Zaora’lek, Bibi a listed the long line of Israeli leaders who have attempted to
reach an agreement with the Palestinians.
He said “They ran away from Barak; they ran away from Sharon; they ran away from Olmert; they ran away from me. “
He said the Palestinian tactic was a “a perfect trap” – because “they refuse to negotiate, refuse to deal with the framework of John Kerry, in the White House, run to Hamas, which calls for our
destruction, go to the UN and try to get sanctions on Israel.”
“They refuse to negotiate and then try to get boycotts on Israel for there
not being negotiations which they refuse to enter. Catch 22,” he charged.
Netanyahu then called for the cycle to be stopped, adding that there was a need to get back to direct negotiations without preconditions.
He concluded by saying “the international community [should] stop giving the Palestinians a free pass”.
