Adam Warner took part in his first open water race of the season.

Finishing runner-up overall, but winning his age group in the 3k race at Dorney Lake, he said: “My aim for this year, is the masters world championships in Kazan (Russia) which take place in August. I’m very happy with this performance as it can only get stronger.”

Adam has three more preparation open water meets, before the competition begins and is next in action on 7 June in Windsor, followed by the masters nationals later that month.
