Warner triumphs in the Thames

Open water swimmer Adam Warner was in action in the River Thames on Sunday, and it proved to be another successful swim as he won the 3k race for his age group and overall.

Taking place in Windsor, he said: “The conditions couldn’t have been much more perfect – sunny skies and warm water temperature. My sponsor SWANS were at the event, so I was very pleased to perform well for them.

“I’m extremely happy with my performance. My results are improving all the time, whatever the environment or conditions and I’m now looking forward to heading to Manchester on Thursday, where I will be competing against the fastest masters in the country.”
