Business leaders behind the traffic and navigation app Waze, will interact with a virtual audience in the first company event of its kind.

The event, which will take place on Tuesday next week, will encourage people to learn more about the people behind the app – including chief executive Noam Bardin – its development and watch a demonstration of new features that will be launched.

The community-driven app, which encourages drivers to submit real-time updates, is available in 50 languages and used by around 130 million people worldwide.

The start-up company, which was founded in Israel, which was bought by Google in 2013 for more than $1billion according to reports.
