Police investigate anti-Semitic incident in Edgware
Police have launched an investigation after anti-Semitic abuse was shouted at a woman in Edgware.
The alleged incident happened last Thursday afternoon, when a man drove past the woman in Edgwarebury Lane.
A Barnet Police spokesman said: “On 12 September, police were called to a report of a racially aggravated public order offence that occurred the previous day.”
“A 53-year-old woman was walking along the pavement when a man, described as white between 30 and 40-years-old, drove past in a grey Vauxhall Astra car and aimed abuse at her. Words used are alleged to be: “You are a f****** Jewish **** and a f****** Yid.”
