Police investigating “very offensive” anti-Semitic graffiti in Hackney
Anti-Semitic graffiti was found in Hackney this week, just days after “Kill Da Jew” was daubed on the same road.
Local neighbourhood watch group Shomrim reported the anti-Semitic crime to the police, which is believed to have appeared on Monday. Last Thursday, similar abuse was posted on the same road, which the police were also looking into.
A spokesperson from Shomrim told Jewish News the graffiti was “very offensive, hence why we didn’t tweet a picture of it”.

Members of the local community responded to Shomrim and the police’s tweets by offering support to the local Jewish community, which is estimated to have around 30,000 orthodox Jews.
