A marathon effort from Camp Simcha runners
Fifteen Camp Simcha supporters raised almost £10,000 when they took part in last Friday’s Jerusalem Marathon races.
Hugo Davidson, Esther-Shira Gaffin, Aaron Ginsburg, Yoram Goodman, Adam Herszaft, Daniel Holder, Judith Moher, Raphael Moller, Matan Ozin, Aaron Rosenberg, Harry Salter, Rafi Terespolsky, Batsheva Vogel, Eliot Young, who are all studying or on gap years in Israel, and Jonny Phillips, who flew out for the marathon, made up the 15-strong team. Chief executive of Camp Simcha, Neville Goldschneider, said: ‘With the loss of fundraising support we would normally get from the London Marathon this year, we are so grateful to our Jerusalem Marathon runners.”
Adrian Jacobs ran the Jerusalem half-marathon for Kisharon finishing in 2:36 – and has so far raised more than £8k for the special needs charity. You can sponsor him here:
