A message from Israel Defense Forces Captain N. Hazony, writing from the front line:

To all citizens, friends, and supporters of Israel, Over the last six days, we in the Israel Defense Forces have been encouraged and inspired by your blessings and outpourings of support.

Many of you have asked how you can help.

Here is what you can do:

1. Share stories that foster a sense of empowerment, not just fear. The messages you choose to send significantly impact the morale of our country and our soldiers.

2. Be proactive. Hang Israeli flags outside your homes, offices, and places of worship. Use billboards and ad space to display messages of support for our soldiers and our people.

3. Call openly for the utter destruction of Hamas. Your words have power. Do not mince them. Be proud to be defending your brothers and sisters who are fighting for our country.

4. To our wives, mothers, and sisters: You are caring for our children and are ensuring we have a place of comfort to return to. You are doing exactly what you should be doing, and it gives us strength.

5. Donate money to organizations that support the IDF. Combat equipment is expensive.

6. Pray to God for the safe and speedy return of our siblings, parents, spouses, and children who are held hostage in Gaza, and for all those fighting for Israel and Her people.

You are about to join battle with your enemy. Let not your courage falter. Do not be in fear, or in panic, or in dread of them. For it is your God יהוה who marches with you to do battle for you against your enemy, to bring you victory.” (Deuteronomy 20: 3-4)
