Board-JLC merger report presented to leaders
A detailed report on a possible unification between the Board of Deputies and Jewish Leadership Council was this week sent to leaders of the two organisations following a four-month consultation.
Independent consultants gauged the views of more than 50 deputies of all ages and from across the country as well as JLC member organisations to produce the report, which is understood to contain a series of recommendations on unification and closer collaboration in general .
The Board-JLC liaison group, which commissioned the report, are expected to hold initial discussions on its contents and how will be disseminated next week.
