Brady U10 win 5-a-side title
Brady Maccabi Under 10’s were celebrating at the weekend, after they landed the U10 title at the Maccabi GB’s Macc 5’s.
With six teams in the group stages, the winner of the group, Brady played the runner-up Hendon (HIS) in the finals.
Brady won all five group matches including convincing wins over two Alyth teams, two Hendon (HIS) teams and their own Brady Under 9’s.
Although Brady beat Hendon 3-1 in the group stages, the final with Hendon was a stalemate at 0-0 at the end of normal time. But an extra time strike from Freddie Martin saw them to the win, which also saw them 17 goals in total, having conceded just once.
Sam Meisel was outstanding in goal for Brady letting in only one goal in six matches. Ben Tibber as captain and Taylor Rosen were both excellent in defence, Jordan Smith excelled in midfield, while Freddie Martin and Daniel Dutch up front, tormented the opposing defences.
