David Cameron to visit Israel in February
David Cameron is to visit Israel next month, according to reports.
The prime minister’s trip will be his first to the country since entering Downing Street in 2010 and is not directly connected to the ongoing peace process, Israeli officials said. Angela Merkel is also due in the country in February.
Cameron – who spoke during prime minister’s questions of his hopes for visiting in November – has since told Knesset speaker Yuli Edelstein that he would be happy to deliver an address in the Israeli Parliament.
