Chief Rabbi gives backing to IsrAction Day
Chief Rabbi Ephraim Mirvis has given his backing to a day of social action, which supports Israel and local communities.
IsrActionDay 2015 will see pro-Israel activists urge people to buy Israeli produce, which will be donated to local charities that support vulnerable people.
Rabbi Mirvis commended the day, saying: “The beauty of this idea is in its simplicity: solidarity with Israel and support for the most vulnerable in our society with one act – I look forward to taking part.”
The day of action, on 13 December will take place across the UK, with numerous pickup points. For more information, see the IsrAction Day page on Faecbook.
