Chief Rabbi Mirvis and Yair Lapid confirmed for Limmud 2020
Israeli opposition leader and Chief Rabbi join other high profile speakers including Holocaust historian Deborah Lipstadt and Rafi Zarum of LSJS for virtual conference
Israeli opposition leader Yair Lapid and Chief Rabbi Ephraim Mirvis have been announced for Limmud Festival 2020.
Amid the Coronavirus pandemic the conference of Jewish learning will be online-only, and will take place between 25-29 December.
Lapid, who is founder and chair of Israeli party Yesh Atid served as Israel’s finance minister and in the security cabinet. He was also a prolific author and journalist before entering politics.
Other high profile speakers include Holocaust historian Deborah Lipstadt, Rafi Zarum, the Dean of the London School of Jewish Studies and life peer Baroness Ruth Deech.
Tickets start at £40 and can be purchased on the Limmud website.
