Jewish Women’s Aid is the only charity in the UK working with Jewish women and their children affected by domestic and sexual abuse.
We are currently looking for a:
Client Support Worker – Orthodox communities
21 hours per week – £16,200 per annum
If you feel as passionately as we do about supporting and empowering women, then this could be the right role for you.
This post will work with Jewish women in Orthodox communities across London affected by domestic and sexual abuse. The post holder will offer practical and emotional support including risk and needs assessment, safety planning and ongoing help. Undertaking outreach and promotion of the service are also key to this role.
You will be enthusiastic, empathic and creative, with an ability to work under pressure. You will already have experience of working with vulnerable women; a knowledge and understanding of domestic abuse and the Orthodox Jewish community is essential.
