Communal body JLC adds new non-elected Trustees
The Jewish Leadership Council have appointed three non-elected additions to their top team to “ensure an appropriate blend of talent”.
Edward Misrahi, chairman of BICOM and former partner at Goldman Sachs, was among the new faces announced by the communal body on Wednesday, as it sought to appoint a new Board of Trustees ahead of a vote by the Council of Members.
Two women were also appointed to the top table, including professional counsellor Ruth Green, a Trustee at UJIA, and trained lawyer Debbie Fox, who runs an online retail site but who holds positions at Jewish Care and the Jewish Association of Mental Illness (JAMI).
Elected Trustees include Bill Benjamin, Adrian Cohen, Mick Davis, Steven Lewis, James Libson, Leo Noe, Stephen Pack and Gerald Ronson, CBE.
