Shocked customer finds swastika inside McDonald’s burger
McDonald’s has said sorry to an American woman who found a swastika printed inside her chicken burger.
Charleigh Matice, a mother of 32, was left shocked after opening the bun to add mayonnaise and finding the offensive Nazi symbol daubed on the inside in what appears to be cooking oil.
Matice had bought the burger at a drive-through restaurant in North Carolina. On complaining, she was told the symbol had been marked by an employee who was “bored”.
McDonald’s said it did not “tolerate that kind of behaviour” and subsequently sacked the employee.
