David Tennant and Elliot Levey take up the ‘simcha’ challenge
A sneak peak of Camp Simcha's campaign
How do David Tennant, Elliot Levey and Sharon Small say ‘simcha’? Hear how they do in this exclusive peak of the Camp Simcha film that will launch their 2023 ‘Make the difference’ campaign next week. To raise crucial funds for the charity, which supports families with a seriously ill child, the charity has chosen to use the often incorrect pronunciation of its own name as the theme for the film.
Saying ‘simcha’ frequently presents difficulties for those who are unfamiliar with the Yiddish word for celebration, so people, among them Jewish actor Elliot Levey, David Tennant and Sharon Small agreed to take up the challenge. The trio, who recently appeared together in the hit play Good, join other celebs in the most unusual campaign film. With Jewish News, Camp Simcha will be showing the ‘say Camp Simcha’ film in its entirety from next week.
