Director
The Council of Christians and Jews is seeking a new Director.
CCJ is the leading nationwide forum for Christian-Jewish engagement, providing innovative branch-based local and national programmes of dialogue, social action and education across the UK. Supported by our Presidents, national leaders of Jewish and Christian denominations, CCJ has a unique reach and voice.
Building on the achievements of outgoing Director Elizabeth Harris-Sawczenko, the new Director will combine deep understanding of Christian-Jewish relations with the skills and qualities to lead a dynamic team in our central London office, and proven experience in fundraising and strategy. Applications from the Jewish community would be especially welcome.
Applicants should contact Elizabeth Harris-Sawczenko at director@ccj.org.uk for an informal conversation and job description. Applications should be sent by email to the Chair of Trustees, Bishop Michael Ipgrave, at recruitment@ccj.org.uk by 17 August, 2020. Interviews will take place during September.
