Cross communal volunteering charity
JVN is the leading cross communal volunteering charity in the Jewish community promoting volunteering opportunities for all ages and abilities.
JVN is seeking a highly motivated person to lead the Organisation, after the current Director retires in December. The successful candidate will drive the organisation forward, building on its success over the last ten years.
You will be experienced in working within the voluntary sector, and able to work effectively with staff, volunteers and the Board of Trustees.
You must be able to find creative solutions to challenges, recognise issues that face the Jewish and wider communities and possess a demonstrable understanding of the Charity Sector.
You will have strong strategic leadership skills, coupled with the ability to work with grant makers, charity professionals and partner organisations.
The organisation currently employs 8 part-time staff actively supported by an enthusiastic group of volunteers.
