Einat Wilf touted as a possible successor to Ron Prosor
Former Labor politician Einat Wilf has been touted as a possible successor to Ron Prosor as Israeli Ambassador to the United Nations.
Wilf, 45, who has been labelled “Israel’s roving ambassador” since leaving the Knesset, is believed to be under consideration for the high-profile role based in New York, with Benjamin Netanyahu also considering right-winger Danny Danon.
The news of her possible succession comes a month after Wilf was in conversation with Prosor at the Jewish News’ UK-Israel Policy Conference. The Harvard-educated former MK also addressed delegates at the We Believe in Israel conference earlier this year.
