Erlich defeated in doubles Down Under
Jonathan Erlich and Scott Lipsky beaten in first round in Australian Open.
Israel-American duo Jonathan Erlich and Scott Lipsky saw their Australian Open doubles campaign last a mere 75 minutes after they were beaten in their first round clash on Thursday morning.
Taking on Russian duo, Karen Khachanov and Andrey Kuznetsov, the pair were beaten 6-4, 6-4.
Their defeat was followed by the exit of another Jewish player, after Diego Schwartzman also saw his doubles campaign ended after the first round. Teaming up with compatriot Andres Molteni, the pair lost 6-0, 6-4 against the number eight seeds, Canadian Daniel Nestor and Frenchman Edouard Roger-Vasselin.
