Essex Jewish nursery celebrates ‘Good’ Ofsted rating
Pre-school facility at Chigwell and Hainault Synagogue praised for leadership, management, quality of education
Staff at a Jewish nursery were celebrating this week after it was given a high rating in an Ofsted report.
Chigwell and Hainault United Synagogue Nursery earned a ‘Good’ for its Leadership and Management, Quality of Education, Behaviour and Attitudes and Personal Development.
Ofsted said that “children show confidence as they enter Nursery and are eager to take part in activities. Staff are enthusiastic, showing children they are happy to see them as they usher them into the building.”
Ofsted also noted safeguarding arrangements were effective. Parents commented that “their children were very happy and staff care about them”.
Melanie Kaye, Nursery Manager, said: “Chigwell and Hainault Nursery staff and parents are delighted with their rating after the recent Ofsted inspection.
“This is a true reflection of the hard work and commitment of the nursery staff team who work diligently to provide a safe, warm and fulfilling environment for the children to attend and flourish.
