Located in the heart of the Media Quarter, the stylish, film-themed Doubletree by Hilton London Elstree has 135 bedrooms (including two junior suites) and three large event spaces, making it the perfect venue to host your barmitzvah, batmitzvah, special birthday, special anniversary or wedding.

The Dupont Suite is a beautifully lit space with high ceilings and caters for up to 220 guests seated with a dancefloor or 250 guests with casual seating. Together with the Dupont Suite, the hotel offers the Gate Suite, which is ideal for reception drinks, food stations, a games area or a wedding ceremony.

The event spaces are a blank canvas – and this is where production comes in. WA Carr and Son is a leading provider of production and hire equipment. Completing and supplying over 1,000 events a year from bar/bat mitzvahs to weddings and everything in between, it offers a huge range of items available for hire and full event planning packages.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

This competition is open to individuals aged 18 years and over, excluding employees, agents, and relatives of WA Carr & Son, Jewish News, Doubletree by Hilton, their affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, and promotion agencies.

One entry per person.

The prize is subject to availability and the suppliers reserve the right to change items provided depending on availability, without prior notice.

The winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received during the competition period. The selection will be conducted by Jewish News or its appointed representatives, whose decision is final and binding in all matters related to the competition.

The event must take place prior to 28 November 2025.

Blackout dates: all bank holidays, 29 and 30 November 2024, all Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays in December, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day.

Maximum number of guests is 250.

Access to venue is from 9am until 12am.

Not included – linen, chair covers, crockery, cutlery and glassware.

Caterer will need to adhere to Doubletree’s health and safety standards.

PAT testing and public liability insurances are needed for all external suppliers.

£500 refundable damages deposit required by Doubletree by Hilton one week prior to the event and paid by card.

£800 refundable deposit required by WA Carr & Son against the hire of equipment through the hire period.

The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other alternative.

The winner will be notified by email and must claim the prize within 14 days of notification. Failure to claim the prize within this period will result in disqualification, and another winner may be selected.

The prize does not include any additional items or services not specified in these terms and conditions.

The winner is responsible for any additional costs or expenses incurred beyond the provided services.

By entering the competition, participants agree to participate in any promotional activity related to the competition, including but not limited to the use of their name, likeness, and submitted content for advertising and publicity purposes without additional compensation.
