Ex-UJS chief made director of Jewish Labour movement
Ella Rose said the appointment is a 'a real vote of confidence' in the youth of the community
A former chair of the Union of Jewish Students has been appointed as the first ever director of the Jewish Labour Movement.
Ella Rose, 23, who topped Jewish News’ 25 Under twenty five list of future communal leaders last year, will take on the role this summer. She is also an activist in Hertsmere constituency Labour which has elected her as a delegate to national party conference.
She told the Jewish News the appointment is “a real vote of confidence in the future of the youth of the community. This is a really exciting opportunity and I’m looking forward to getting stuck in”.
