Foreign Office tell Brits in Israel: ‘Avoid using buses in Tel Aviv’
The Foreign Office has warned Brits in Israel to avoid using buses in Tel Aviv.
The Foreign and Commonwealth office outlined that “there is an ongoing risk of security incidents on public transport in Tel Aviv and there have been attacks on buses in recent months.”
On 21 January, “at least 12 people were wounded when a knife attack was made on a bus.”
As a result, the Foreign and Commonwealth Office advised that “You should avoid using the bus system in the greater Tel Aviv area and exercise caution when using other forms of public transport.”
The FCO also have warning against all travel to Gaza, the Sheba’a Farms and Ghajjar along the border with Lebanon, after the border skirmish this week, and ‘east of Route 98 along the Syrian border’ following the attack from on the Golan Heights, also this week.
