Foreign Secretary says Jeremy Corbyn has a ‘massive blind spot’ on antisemitism
Jeremy Hunt hits out at the Labour leader over his handling of Labour's antisemitism row, saying he sees anyone who opposes Israel and America as 'good'
The Foreign Secretary has accused Jeremy Corbyn of having a “massive blindspot” to anti-Semitism, and seeing anyone who opposes America and Israel as “good”.
Jeremy Hunt said the Labour leader’s world view was to see the US and Israel as “bad”, and favour anyone who opposes them, as he warned of Mr Corbyn’s “catastrophic misjudgements on foreign policy”.
“The basic problem with Corbyn is that he has a world view which says ‘America, Israel – bad’, and anyone who opposes America and Israel – good. And that is what has caused him to have a massive blindspot to antisemitism,” Mr Hunt said.
Mr Corbyn has come under intense criticism in recent months over his party’s handling of allegations of antisemitism within its ranks.
