Former FA chairmen mark Torah scroll rescue anniversary
Former chairmen of the Football Association, Lord Triesman and David Bernstein, will share a platform to mark the 50th anniversary of the rescue of nearly 1,600 Torah scrolls for Prague after the Holocaust.
The event, on 3 November at the independent Westminster Synagogue in Knightsbridge, is supported by Jewish News and Maccabi GB.
The duo will offer unique insight into the FA and the Jewish passion for the game.
Tickets are £15 for Jewish News readers booking in advance. See bit.ly/SpursAndCity
