Furman on target in Blackburn pre-season friendly
Dean Furman was on target in Blackburn’s 2-0 pre-season friendly win at Accrington Stanley on Saturday – and has been invited to attend their training camp in Portugal ahead of a potential move to Ewood Park.
The South African captain is currently on trial at the Championship club having left Doncaster Rovers at the end of last season. Opening the scoring in the 12th minute, he played – and suitably impressed – in the opening 45 minutes of the match and will now travel to Portugal with the squad before a decision is made as to whether he’ll earn a contract at Ewood Park.
