Futsal team miss out on FA semi-finals
Maccabi GB just failed to qualify for the semi-finals of the FA Futsal Cup after they were held to a 4-4 draw by Oxford Futsal.
Player-manager Jon Kurrant said: “It has been a phenomenal year and whilst everyone at Maccabi GB Futsal is gutted not to have made it into the next round, to gain a successful promotion with a team who had limited futsal knowledge and participation before the start of the season is a huge achievement. To go undefeated for the entire campaign is even more impressive!
“We are in arguably the best league in the country next season and have a lot of work to do. Thank you for all of your support this season and we look forward to progressing even further next year.”
