Grant confirmed as new Ghana boss
Avram Grant has been named as the new manager of the Ghana national football team after agreeing a 27-month contract.
The 54-year-old former Chelsea, West Ham, Portsmouth and Israeli national team manager will lead the ‘Black Stars’ at January’s African Cup of Nations tournament.
The Ghanaian Football Association President Kwesi Nyantakyi “Grant needs time to know the players very well so we can’t ask him to win the Nations Cup. That would be unrealistic.”
