Halter swims to hat-trick of golds
Veteran swimmer Susan Halter recovered from being involved in a serious car accident last week to compete in three races at the weekend’s Southeast region Masters tournament.
The long course competition in Crawley saw Halter competing in the 85-89 age group, where she raced in the three backstroke events; the 50, 100 and 200m.
She said: “Strangely enough my times were better than my given times after my horrible accident. Now I will have to have physio for my neck and shoulders, but the backstroke does seem to help.”
