Hasmonean Primary School praised by Ofsted inspectors and rated “good”
The Jewish primary school in Hendon, which was rated “good” in 2015, has been praised by inspectors in a recent report.
Hasmonean primary school in Hendon has been rated “good” by Ofsted following an inspection last month.
The school, which was rated “good” in 2015, has been hailed by inspectors as being “a high attaining school in which pupils enjoy their learning”.
Ofsted says the school’s leadership and governors provide “strong direction to the school” and “prioritised the areas for improvement identified during the previous inspection”.
Inspectors described pupils as being “well-mannered and extremely welcoming”, and parents were highlighted as being “overwhelmingly positive about the nature and support the children received.”
In a joint statement, headteacher Dr Alan Shaw, and chair of governors Dan Sacker, said: “We are delighted to achieve a “Good” grading.
“This is a fantastic result, particularly when you consider that the level needed to receive a “Good” grading today is significantly higher than it was when Ofsted last inspected the school in March 2015.
“We would like to take this opportunity to thank our pupils who did us all proud, the parents for their support, and our wonderful staff and Governing Body for their commitment.”
