Hello! Lionel Richie to perform for Jewish Care anniversary
Soul icon Lionel Richie is set to perform in north London at Jewish Care’s 25th anniversary campaign dinner on Thursday, 11 June, one week before his 66th birthday.
The chart-topping grandfather, whose hits include Truly, Dancing On The Ceiling and All Night Long, will be the headline act at an event marking 25 years since the formation of Jewish Care.
Richie came in for criticism from anti-Israel activists two years ago, when he joined X-Factor boss Simon Cowell in raising money for the Israeli Defence Forces.
