Hole lot of trouble! Rainbow bagels make an entrance on Great British Bake Off
Paul Hollywood challenged the contestants of the popular Channel 4 show to come up with the perfect multicoloured version of the Jewish bread
There were bigger problems than deciding whether to pronounce it “bagel” or “beigel” as Paul Hollywood set the contestants of Channel 4’s Great British Bake Off the task of boiling and then baking the perfect rainbow variety of the beloved Jewish bread.
While some were instantly dismissed for being too hard, too wrinkly or too soggy – resulting in Rowan leaving this week – Linda’s came up a treat, but she was still pipped to the post of star baker by Marc for his showstopping bread sheaf.
Great British Bake Off is shown on Tuesdays, 8pm on Channel 4. Episodes are also available to stream on demand.
